Dome of the Rock vs Al-Aqsa Mosque.... confused??

the Dome of the Rock

Have you seen this building? It is the most universally recognized symbol of Jerusalem, the Dome of the Rock. It is not a holy place of neither Jewish nor Christian but it is the Muslims one. This historical building is located at Jerusalem in Palestine.
Just like KLCC in Malaysia, the Dome of the Rock is a bench mark of Jerusalem. It is one of the most celebrated and most remarkable monuments of early Islam. Inside the building, there is a marble called " The Flagstone of Paradise" which is a hanging marble placed where our Prophet s.a.w ascended to the heavens during the event of Isra' and Mi'raj. Every year, many pilgrims and tourists will come to visit it.
However, there are some people who still confused between the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Both are different buildings. Al-Aqsa Mosque which the largest mosque in Jerusalem is located nearby the Dome of the Rock. Both are very historical, remarkable and could be one of the wonders of the modern world for me!
